The Little Byrd Family :D

Okay so it has been FOREVER since I have blogged. So much has happened in my life!! Things are going great for me and my little family!! Lilly is getting bigger every day! She loves to scream now it was cute at first but now my ears hurt lol She can roll over from her tummy to her back and she is super close to rolling over from her back to her tummy!! She loves talking and she gets so close to saying dadada although I try getting her to say mama every day!!! She has the cutest laugh and she is always smiling I love it!! She is 4 months now and she has the prettiest blue eyes ever! We used to always guess that she would either have brown or green eyes cause that's what me and Evan have but I guess she gets it from my dad and brother and Evan's mom and sisters. Evan & I love giving her kisses on her cute chubby cheeks she probably gets at least a million kisses a day!! She has finally been sleeping through the night and this week we have been trying to get her to sleep in her crib in her own room, it's been a challenge but she finally slept all through the night in her crib last night!! I had a really hard time with it cause im used to her sleeping in her bassinet right next to my bed and it was wierd not having her there! The first time we put her in her crib Evan says I miss her.. and I was like me too and so I went and grabbed her and put her back in her bassinet haha!! But I am getting used to it now. Lilly has changed our lives so much and we both love being parents she makes us smile every day and we both can't wait to have more one day, not any time soon though haha!

Update from the Byrd's

Evan and I are officially all moved into our apartment and we love it, it's really cute and perfect for our little family! I will have photos of the place soon!!! I am excited to start getting the baby's room all ready, I feel like I have so much to do! But we have 4 months to prepare.... time is flying by!! For those of you that don't know, we are naming our baby Lilly we both really love the name and it just feels perfect! I asked Evan 4 years ago if he ever had a girl what would he want to name it and he said Lilly and that was the moment I knew he was the one because that is the girl name I have always loved hahaha okay.. so maybe that wasn't the exact moment I knew he was the one but I was excited that he liked that name too!! Lilly has been moving and kicking me so much lately it's exciting! I have a feeling she is going to be a big baby because in her ultrasound she measured slightly bigger for the week she was in and they told us the due date is right on, also Evan was a big 9 pounder almost 10 pounds when he was born and I was 9 pounds so I just have a feeling Lilly will be that way. Evan and I are so excited to meet her!!

My first time blogging!!

          So this is my first time blogging.. I have no idea what I am doing haha. I thought it would be fun to try it out! Also, I feel like my life has gotten a lot more interesting in the past few months and it is going to get even more interesting this next year so why not write about it? ; ) So Evan and I are doing really well, we have been married for a month now and it is so crazy how fast time flies! We have been living at my parents house which really isn't that bad I love them to death! But we have been looking for apartments and we are really excited to get out there on our own!!
          After lots of searching we finally found a really good apartment for a really good price!! We get to move in on April 1st and we are sooooo excited!!! It is over by UVU and it is kind of a basement apartment but it isn't underground?? Kind of hard to explain!! But it has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom which will be perfect with our little one on the way!!! It is right across the street from that really big fun park past wal- mart in orem which will be way fun in the summer!!! It will be way nice to finally get to use all of our wedding stuff and to get settled in and make it homey!!! I am really excited to get the baby room all ready for little Lilly!!! We are so happy : )
